Some Things To Consider
Recoil-less weapons - aren't.
Incoming fire has the right of way.
When in doubt, empty your magazine.
Never draw fire, it irritates everyone around you.
The only thing more accurate than enemy incoming fire, is friendly incoming fire.
If the enemy is within range, so are you.

The Life of Dan
I was born on 03-30-1950 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am the second of three kids with an older brother and a younger sister. I graduated from high school (Cudahy Senior High), Cudahy, Wisconsin in June 1968. In March of that year on my 18th birthday I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and on the 23rd of June I left for boot camp in San Diego, California. After graduating boot camp I was sent to Pensacola, Florida for Radio Intercept Operator training, learning Morse Code. After completing this training I went to Company B, Marine Support Battalion in Edzell, Scotland. After a year there I volunteered for duty in Vietnam as a radio intercept operator/direction finding operator. I spent most of my tour on top of Marble Mountain as well as Hill 510. I spent the later half of 1970 and the first half of 1971 in Vietnam. For the next 20 years I served at various duty stations including locations in Hawaii, North Carolina, the island of Cyprus in the Mediterranean, Germany, Japan, Guam, Monterey, California and San Angelo, Texas. I retired at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina after having served as the Signals Intelligence/Electronic Warfare Chief for the Commanding General, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Atlantic. In 1990 I retired and moved back to Wisconsin. I began working for BEST Power Technology in 1992 making back-up power systems for computers. I spent 8 years at BEST and decided to move on to do something else. For the next several years beginning the later part of 2000 I worked as a casino security officer, as a surveillance agent in the same casino, I did some work in grounds maintenance at a local golf course, worked part time at Land's End and just recently enrolled in the Veteran's Business Training Center. I am currently a student in a 16 week course of study learning computer skills and how to work in a Virtual Call Center.
